Tomato & Watermelon Skewers with Strawberry Basil Syrup

Makes 20 servings (2 skewers per) 


20 wooden skewers

1 pint yellow cherry tomatoes, halved

1 small watermelon cut into 1" cubes

Kosher salt, to taste

1 8 oz. jar Locally Preserved Strawberry Basil Syrup

1 bunch fresh basil, chopped


On each skewer, alternate tomato halves and watermelon cubes. Season skewers to taste with salt. To serve, place 2 skewers per plate. Lightly drizzle lightly with strawberry basil syrup and garnish with basil.
