Blueberry Herradura Smash

1.5 ozs. Herradura Silver Tequila 

1/4 cup blueberries 

1/3 peach, diced 

1/4 lemon, juiced 

1.5 ozs Goslings Ginger Beer 

1 teaspoon Locally Preserved Blueberry Basil Syrup 

In a shaker, combine and muddle the tequila, blueberries and peaches. Add the ginger beer and fruit syrup. Rill the shaker halfway with ice and shake well. Strain over crushed ice and serve.

Strawberry Mint Sipper

One of our signature cocktails from the 2015 Creole Tomato Festival in the French Market!  Locally Preserved Strawberry Mint Syrup is the perfect counterpoint to Cathead Honeysuckle Vodka in this refreshing, light, and ice-cold summertime sipper built for long, lazy afternoons spent swaying in a hammock or relaxing at a festival. 

1.5 ozs. Cathead Honeysuckle Vodka

.25 oz. Locally Preserved Strawberry Mint Syrup

.5 oz. fresh lemon juice

2 ozs. club soda

1 slice of strawberry to garnish (optional)

1 mint leaf to garnish (optional) 

Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker filled halfway with ice. Shake gently and strain or pour into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with the strawberry and basil leaf.

Lavender Rains

Makes 1 cocktail 

1 1/2 oz. Oryza vodka 

1/2 oz. Locally Preserved Lavender Simple Syrup

3/4 oz. lemon juice 

5 drops Bitterman's Xocolatl Molé Bitters 

5 drops Bitterman's Cream Citrate 

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice and add all ingredients. Shake until well chilled, about 20 to 30 seconds. Strain over ice into a highball glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
